NGRB

Pipe Size: 2" and 3" FL

Outlet Pressure Range: 7" to 21.4 psig

The NMT® NGRB Series regulators are single stage, self-operated regulators for heavy duty work under high, medium and low-pressure applications, for all types of non-corrosive gases. The NGRB Series regulator has a built-in partial relief valve (token relief), which allows occasional rises in the outlet pressure above the relief pressure to be released gradually into the atmosphere without triggering an overpressure shut-off valve or high limit switch due to occurrences such as sudden variations in flow or variations in temperature causing an increase in downstream pressure.

NOTE: The NGRB regulator requires a downstream sensing line that senses the downstream pressure to operate. This sensing line must be installed within the piping system and connected to the regulator at its appropriate connection.

Features

  • Internal token relief
  • Corrosion-resistant exterior
  • High capacity at low inlet pressures
  • Internal balanced valve allowing low lock up with high inlet pressures
  • Field-interchangeable springs
  • Designed for easy maintenance

Specifications

  • Gas types: Natural gas, LPG, other non-corrosive dry gases
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 145 psig
  • Maximum emergency inlet pressure: 145 psig
  • Operating temperature: -4°F to +140°F

Installation and Compatability

How long does installation take?

Installation is fast and easy, usually taking seconds to securely install. Just walk up, clamp, and you're done.

Can one person install this, or does it require a team?

One person can install any Umeter® Clamp. It's designed for fast and simple installations.

What pipe type does Umeter® Clamp work with?

The Umeter® Clamp works on PEX, CPVC, and copper pipe. One Clamp type is made for PEX specifically, while the other is made for CPVC/copper applications.

What sizes are available?

The Umeter® Clamp series comes 3/4" and 1" pipe diameters.

Performance and Technology

Can it measure accurately at low flow rates?

Yes, the Umeter® Clamp measures flow data just as accurate at low flow as it does at normal and high flows.

What's the advantage of having no moving parts?

The Umeter® Clamp measures more accurately, requires less maintenance, and maintains it's ultra-stable accuracy over its entire lifespan.

Does pipe condition matter?

For the Clamp's best performance, ensure the pipe's surfaces are clear of any stickers, debris, or materials of any kind before installing.

Reliability and Maintenance

Does the Umeter® Clamp require regular maintenance?

No. It delivers ultra-accurate measurements without the upkeep most meters require.

What's the lifespan of the Umeter® Clamp?

10 years.

Is it weatherproof for outdoor installations?

At this moment, the Umeter® Clamp is designed for indoor installations only.

Installation and Compatability

What sizes is the Umeter® N-Line available in?

The Umeter® N-Line is available for 3/4" and 1" pipe diameter installations.

Can it replace my existing mechanical water meter?

Yes. The N-Line is designed to be a complete upgrade for most users through its ultrasonic accuracy, deeper insights, and a longer lifespan.

Does installation require specialized tools or training?

Installation is straightforward and designed for standard plumbing setups.

Does the orientation (horizontal or vertical) matter during installation?

No, the Umeter® N-Line can install in any angle, direction, or orientation as long as it follows the water flow path.

Performance and Technology

How does the N-Line measure water flow compared to mechanical water meters?

The Umeter® N-Line uses high-frequency sound waves to measure and track water flow data.

Can it measure accurately at low flow rates?

Yes, the Umeter® N-Line measures low flow rates with the same ultrasonic accuracy as with normal and high flows.

How accurate is the Umeter® N-Line?

The Umeter® N-Line measures more accurately and maintains it's ultra-stable accuracy over it's entire lifespan.

Does water quality affect performance?

For the best performance, ensure the pipe is full of water, and there are no air pockets, debris, or other materials flowing through the water.

Reliability and Maintenance

Does the Umeter® N-Line require regular maintenance?

No, the Umeter® N-Line has no moving parts, which means there's nothing to wear down or require routine servicing. It delivers ultra-accurate measurements without the upkeep most meters often require.

What's the lifespan of the Umeter® N-Line?

10 years.

Is it weatherproof for outdoor installations?

At this moment, the Umeter® N-Line is designed for indoor installations only.
